2019-01-23Describe an interesting part of yourcountry. you should say:
where it is
when you visit it
and explain why ifs interesting.
I’d like to talk about Disneyland parkwhich is a theme park located in Shanghai.
Well it is located in Pudong district, which belongs to the suburban. Therefore, there is enough room for such a largescale park. Disneyland park has 7 themed area, such as Mickey avenue andtomorrow land. There are different kinds of entertainment facilities in thoseareas. You can have fun with roller coasters in tomorrow lands and you can takephotos with Mickey in Mickey avenue.
I went there last summer holiday with myfriend Alley. Both of us are big fans of Disney. We love those cartooncharacters. I remember that we got up early that morning and rushed into thepark as soon as it was open. We took lots of photos, watched shows andperformances, and took exciting rides and roller coasters. In the evening, weenjoyed the firework show in front of the castle. We felt at nine that day.
Now let me explain why it is interesting. In Shanghai Disneyland you can leave today and discover imaginative worlds offantasy, romance and adventure that ignite the magical dreams. I believe Disneyaccompanies almost everyone when they are in their childhood. It is a greatfeeling to see those Disney elements show up right in front of you. It makesyou feel as if you went back to your childhood. I strongly recommend this parkto you and I promise it will not let you down though the ticket price is alittle bit expensive.
Part 3
1. What’s the different between cities andcountryside? Why?
Cities are densely populated. Definitely, there are more people living in cities. There are also more high-rises in orderto ensure that so many people can have a place to live and work. However, dueto the large number of people, there is also more pollution. Therefore, the airquality and water quality is better in the countryside. Besides, it is alsomore quiet in suburban. I guess this is why people like to spend holiday in thecountryside and even live there after retirement.
2. What’s the living style between cities andcountryside?
Well, in my opinion, the life pace incities is faster than in the countryside. People always look busy. I guess thisis because the living cost in cites is higher, so they have no choice but tospare no effort to work so that they can make ends meet or improve their livingstandard. Children and teenagers also have to study hard or they can not finddecent jobs in the future. However, people who live in the countryside do notbear such pressure, so living style there is more relaxed and free.
3. Doyou like living in big cities or small cities? Why?
I like to live in big cities. Well this isbecause I was born and raised in Shanghai, which is a megacity located in theSouth of China. The population is more than 20 million. Therefore, I am used toliving in big cities. There are more job opportunities, more advancedtechnology and better infrastructure. I really enjoy my life in Shanghai. However, may be I will move to small cities after retirement where is morequiet. I think small cities are more suitable for elder people.
1. What makes countries different? Why?
First of all, people who live in thosecountries. We have different races, so you can see people from Asia with yellowskin, and those from Africa with black skin. Citizens’s skin color andappearance make countries different. Also, culture also makes a countrydifferent. Different countries have different food, religion belief, language, customs and cloths. For example, sarong is the traditional cloth of Indonesiaand China is famous for its tea. Lastly, topography also makes countrydifferent. It is because of diverse topography, that every country hasdifferent scenery. Some scenic spots even become landscapes of a country suchas the Fuji mountain in Japan and the Yangtze river in China.
5. Whatmake your cities different?
Well Shanghai is a modern city, and thebond is the most famous scenic spot. There are lots of high-rises such as theOriental Pearl TV Tower and Shanghai International financial center. Huangpuriver is also located there. The bond is especially famous for its night view.In the evening, those high buildings are brightly lit in different LEDsequences. In addition, Shanghai has a harbor which is the largest and busiestharbor all over the world. Lastly, Shanghai is an international city, so youcan see many foreigners here.
6. What’sthe different between southern and northern in China?
First of all, the temperature is different. It is warmer in southern cities and colder in the north due to the latitude. The south of China is nearer to the equator. It is also drier in the north andrain falls more frequently in southern cities. In addition, people havedifferent characters. Generally speaking, those who live in the south are moretender while those who live in the north are more candid. Customs are alsodifferent. For example, the bride from the south must cry during the wedding, which symbols that she will not experience worrying things any more aftermarriage, but there is no such custom in the north.
