I’d like to talk about Wenhui 141 which ismy favorite cafe.

It is located on Wenhui road, in Songjianguniversity town. This cafe is quite popular among students. It is famous forits reasonable price, cozy environment and the delicious coffee andrefreshments. Everyday, many students go there to get a cup of coffee and someof them sit in the cafe reading books or having some blue sky thinking.

I like to study there from time to time,especially during the weekends. Sometimes I spend the whole day there, readingbooks, doing my homework, writing essays with the nice smell of coffee.

There are many types of coffee there suchas Latte, Americano and cappuccino. In addition, the cafe also providescostumers with refreshments like pudding and cakes. Well it is decorated well.There are fresh flowers in vases on each table and light music is played asbackground music.

I really like to study in this cafe. Firstof all, it is located nearby my university and it takes only about 10 minute’swalk to reach there from the dorm. In addition, it is a quiet place and I lovethe atmosphere. Unlike in the library, where you must be completely silent, youcan talk in a low voice with your friends so it is also a perfect place fordiscussion of team work. Lastly coffee there will never let you down. I like itso much.

1.    Do you like to study alone or with a groupof people? Why?

Well I prefer to study with a group ofpeople. When studying, chances are that you encounter something that you cannot understand or some exercises you can not solve. So if you are studying withothers, you can turn to them for help. You can also have a better understandingthrough communicating. In addition, you may feel inspired when seeing othersspare no effort to study, so you will also get more focused, which can make youmore efficient.

2.    Do you prefer study at home or outside?Why?

I prefer to study outside, especially inthe library and the cafe. This is because I ma easy to get distracted at home.I mean home is a place where I feel completely relaxed. I do not want to studyat all and all the thing I want to do is to play my cellphone. In this case, Ican’t keep studying for a long period of time at home. However, the atmosphereof libraries and cafe is good. Everyone is quiet and focusing on what they areworking on. Therefore, I prefer to study outside.

3.   Doyou think face to face teaching is better than learn by yourself? Why or whynot?

Yes, I do. When studying, chances are thatyou encounter something that you can not understand or some exercises you cannot solve. So if you have a teacher right in front of you, you can ask him orher until you fully understand. In addition, teachers can point out yourweakness and help you to improve that field. For example, maths teachers caneasily find out that you always make mistakes when doing certain types ofexercises but it may be hard for you to realize that by yourself. Therefore, inmy opinion, academic performance can be improved more quickly with teachers’help.

1.   What’s your study habit? Why?

I’d like to make a time table for eachday’s study. For example, studying English from 2pm to 3.30pm. Then after 15minutes’ rest, starting to study Japanese for 1 hour. Usually I would followthis table strictly. This is my study habit because I believe making a plan inadvance helps you to make full use of time thus making me more efficient. Ihave recommend this way to my friends and all of them think time table is ofgreat use.

5.   Doyou need rest during study? And how often do you take a break?

Yes, I do. In my opinion, study involvesstrong brain activities so it is common that you feel extremely tired afterstudying for a long period of time. I usually have a rest for 20 minutes after2 hours’ study. I’d like to play games or listen to music during the break orsometimes even have a nap. Trust me, you will become more efficient after therest, so taking a break is not a waste of time but necessary.
