I’d like to talk about Wenhui 141 which ismy favorite cafe.

It is located on Wenhui road, in Songjianguniversity town. This cafe is quite popular among students. It is famous forits reasonable price, cozy environment and the delicious coffee andrefreshments. Everyday, many students go there to get a cup of coffee and someof them sit in the cafe reading books or having some blue sky thinking.

There are many types of coffee there suchas Latte, Americano and cappuccino. American is my favorite because I don’twant so much milk or sugar in the coffee which leads to obesity. In addition, thecafe also provides costumers with refreshments like pudding and cakes. They areall nice.

Well this cafe is run by Mr. Li and hisson. Both of them are fond of coffee, so they decided to have a cafe of theirown 5 years ago. Mr. Li studied how to bake cakes and cook coffee  abroad when he was young so their cafe wasstarted smoothly with professional skills.

I really like this cafe, because it isconvenient as it is located nearby my university and it takes only about 10minute’s walk to reach there from the dorm. In addition, it is a place where Ifeel relaxed. The cozy environment helps me to get rid of the hustle and bustleof the modern city life so that I can recharge the battery and be moreefficient and energetic. This is really a fascinating cafe and it will neverlet you down.

1.   What’s the advantages and disadvantages offamily business?

When it comes to family business I thinkthe largest advantage is that people tend to cooperate better. This is becausepeople who run the company are relatives, so they know each other well. Inaddition, they are working for their own business, so there is no doubt thatthey will spare no effort. Well family business can also cause serious problemwhen it comes to heritage. Lots of conflicts occur when deciding the inheritor.

2.   What do we need when we start a business?Why?

First we need enough money. Without money,we can not rent an office or a shop, we can not recruit employees, and we cannot buy necessary equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate how muchmoney is required and make preparation before staring a business. Then, it isalso important to acquire professional knowledge in this field. For example, ifyou want to open a restaurant, you must study hard how to make food deliciousand attractive. If you want to open a cafe, you have to learn how to cookcoffee and bake cakes. I believe a person can succeed with money and knowledgeif he works hard and does not give up easily.

3.   How can someone become a successful person?

Well, in my opinion, it depends on theirgoals and what they want. Some people prefer to work for large companies wherethey can improve skills and increase earnings, while others may choose to workfor start-ups, which are smaller in terms of scale but they are trusted with moreresponsibilities in those companies. Besides, there are also many people who donot care where to work. The only thing that matters is whether they enjoy theirjob and whether they are satisfied with their salary and position.

4.   Do Chinese like to work in a largecooperation or a small company? Why or why not?

I think globalization is a good thingbecause it offers people from all over the world to communicate and cooperatetogether. Thanks to the globalization, we are now available with high-quality productsor service produced in different countries. For example, silks from China,black tea from Britain, diamonds from South Africa, coffee beans from SouthAmerica, super hero movies from the USA. In this way, people’s living standardscan be improved. In addition, globalization can create a friendly atmosphereworldwide, in which designers, inventors and engineers can mine each other’sinformation and come up with creative ideas.

5.   Do you think globalization is a bad thing?Why or why not?

Well, in my opinion, it depends on theirgoals and what they want. Well, I think success is hard to definebecause the concept of success differs from person to person. It is hard forsomeone to be regarded as successful by everyone, but I guess when someonerealizes his or her goals that person will regard himself as successful. Inthis case, it is important to set an ambition first and then spare no effort tomake your dream come true. Of course you may encounter many problems in thisprocess, so in such kind of situation, you should always tell yourself not togive up and ask for advice to overcome those problems. I believe with endeavorand perseverance, one can succeed sooner or later.
