如何积累托福写作素材

托福写作一直是同学们比较畏惧的一个科目，大家可能会有这样的感受：中文作文都不爱写，英文就更不想写了；练来练去好像还是老样子，提升方法不太明确；感觉练过题都不会考，考的都是没练过的。

事实上，写作并没有那么难。如果大家的写作分数在28分以下，写作是投入很产出比很高的一科。前提是运用正确的备考方式，建议大家把备考过程分为以下几个环节，逐一突破：

1）形成各个话题的常用思路

2）总结积累优秀的例子

3）积累强化必备句型

4）熟练使用段落逻辑连接词

其中，让大家头疼的环节便是积累写作素材。今天我们就来重点聊聊——如何总结积累优秀的例子。

首先，大家需要明确什么样的例子算是优秀的。好的例子应该有如下几个特征：

1）切题

2）语言凝练

3）细节丰富

4）能够支持论点

需要特别提醒大家的是，跑题的例子，写的再精彩，也是无用功。

比如，题目让我们讨论大学生做兼职工作的问题，你的例子不小心写成了自己高中时代的兼职经历，可能写着写着自己都感动了，但是这个例子却是无效的。

另外一个要点是例子要有细节。怎样的例子才算细节丰富呢，我们来看个例子：

题目：Students could receive a better, more efficient education if they spend 11 months a year studying.

观点：It is beneficial for students to attend more classes and hence acquire more knowledge.

例子：History Class

例子1：

Take history class as an example. By studying 11 months a year at school, students will have more time studying with the teacher who conveys knowledge and assigns homework. The more history classes students take, the more knowledge they get, such as historical events and figures.

例子2：

Take the study of Industrial Revolution in history class as an example. It has taken weeks for our teacher to introduce the historical background, the main process and huge influences on the whole worlds, especially how the invention of steam engine had promoted the development of iron industry by providing more fuels.

这两个例子的字数虽然差距并不大，但是通过对比，大家都会觉得第二个例子的细节更丰富。

因为它不是泛泛地谈上课的好处，而是举出了历史课学习内容的细节，工业革命，蒸汽机的发明，提供了更多的能源，因此推动了钢铁行业的发展等等。这样的例子才更加有说服力。

那么，可能有些同学会问了：“这样的例子是很好，但是考试时我可能一下想不到，或者想到了也写不好，那该怎么办呢？”

其实答案很简单，回头再看看上面的例子内容是不是似曾相识呢，它其实就源自托福阅读考题6的一篇文章！

是不是感觉豁然开朗？其实我们不用总是从零开始去写例子，借鉴各种材料内容也不失为一个好的办法。而且，同样的例子，改一改，还可以用于很多话题，包括历史话题，课程话题，老师话题，作业话题，读书话题，甚至电视电影话题等等。

比如这道题，

Some people think that it’s an important part of a child’s education to go on field trip (e.g. museums), others think a child’s time is better spent learning in a classroom at school. Which do you prefer?

无论是支持在课堂跟着老师学习，还是去field trip，参观博物馆，上面的例子2里的内容都可以用得上。
